Zoning Certificates

 

PLEASE NOTE:  Article 5, Sec. 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance requires that "No property shall be used, and no building or structure or portion thereof shall be located, erected, constructed, reconstructed, extended, enlarged, converted, or structurally altered, except in conformance with the regulations of [the] Zoning Ordinance."

 

A Zoning Certificate must be issued by the Planning and Zoning Administrator to indicate compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. 

 

For Fences, Residential Professional Uses, and Yard Sale signage, special requirements and forms must be used.  See below for forms and instructions.

• Zoning Certificate Application

  • Sprinkler System Exemption Request Form (for homes with Improvement Plans approved by the City PRIOR TO July 20, 2006)

• Fence Zoning Certificate Application, Fence Zoning Certificate Regulations

• Home Occupation/Residential Professional Use Zoning Certificate Application  (NOTE:  To apply for Home Occupation/Residential Professional Use of a property, you will need to complete the Home Occupation/Residential Professional Use Zoning Certificate Form AND the standard Zoning Certificate application)

• Yard Sale Application, Yard Sale Check Request Form, Yard Sale Zoning Fee Policy (Ordinance 03-02)
